Fun Fact – While battery powered cars for kids (aka Teslas for Tots) have been around since the 1960s it wasn’t until the late 1980s when the brand name Power Wheels became a household name and the battery powered ride-ons became super popular selling over 1,000,000 cars per year by 1990.
